Bumper Specialties products are most popular on acrylic displays.  We offer clear rubber feet so they do not detract from the display itself.  Our clear bumpers are nearly invisible when applied to an acrylic POP display.

WL Concepts creates retail displays with our rubber feet.  WL Concepts has an impressive portfolio collection featuring POP displays for The North Face, Macy's, and The Disney Store.  They create custom designs and displays, graphic, and even trade show exhibits, which all utilize rubber bumper feet for protection.  Bumper Specialties is proud to work with fellow United States Manufactures like WL Concepts.

Laptop Feet

Rubber feet on the bottom of your laptop are as important as the hard drive and monitor!  Well, maybe that is not so true, but they are critical and greatly contribute to your computer’s health.  When laptops run, they create heat.  To prevent them from overheating, rubber feet raise and elevate the laptop enough from the tabletop surface to allow an air flow.  Without bumpers, laptops can overheat, causing it to shut off automatically, freeze, and even damage your computer battery.

Sometimes, the factory issued rubber feet on the bottom of laptops fall off.  Luckily, Bumper Specialties laptop replacement feet are easy to apply and stay secured.  Just peel them like a sticker, and place them on the bottom of your laptop, easy as that!  No screws or glue are required.  Replacing your laptop feet is easy!
People use our replacement rubber feet for some of the largest laptop manufactures in the world.  They are used for replacement on HP, Toshiba, Asus, Sony, and Dell laptop rubber feet.  Our most popular choices come from our cylindrical bumper line.  Our Hemispherical and Square rubber feet are popular options too.

For Macbook Pro replacement feet, we manufacture a similar bumper to those that originally came on the Apple laptop.  Our BS-39 is similar to existing Mac book rubber feet.  They are easy to apply with our special self adhesive backing.  Here is a detailed video we found that shows how to replace feet on a Macbook.

As a manufacturer we sell our rubber feet in bulk, but we have smaller quantities available on our website with a single sheet option.  Bumper Specialties has authorized distributers throughout the world that can help you find your replacement laptop feet.

Bumper Specialties has a broad range of rubber feet, so you can be sure to find one that suites your laptop best!

Rubber Feet for Coasters

Rubber feet protect your coasters, and coasters protect your table tops!

coasters with rubber feet

Bumper Specialties bumperstops have many applications, including rubber feet for coasters.  This particular application is most popular with granite, glass, and ceramic coasters.  Our bumper stops strongly adhere to the bottom surface of the coaster to keep the coaster from slipping or sliding on the tabletop.  Additionally, since our rubber feet are 100% polyurethane, they will not damage, scuff, or stain your table tops.

Craft Fusion Ltd. makes beautiful glass coasters with our bumper stops!
One of our customers, Craft Fusion Limited, creates beautiful glass art for over 100 galleries throughout the United Kingdom.  Bumper Specialties is happy to sell bumper stops in the UK.  As a matter of fact, we presently ship our bumper feet to over 70 countries!  All our rubber feet are available in clear, so they will be invisible and not detract from the glass art.  Keep stunning glass art protected with our high quality crystal clear bumpers and avoid the hassle of other unsightly stoppers.

Other companies use felt or cork to keep their coasters in place.  However, Bumper Specialties bumper stops will not crack, break, or wear out like these other materials.  Try using Bumper Specialties rubber feet on the bottom of your coasters to see the quality and improvement that comes with our products!

Door Stops

Almost every door needs a door stop to protect against damaging the walls when opening.  Hinge doors and sliding doors alike both require a door stopper.  Bumper Specialties has designed the perfect solution to preventing wall damage from door knobs.

Hinge Doors

Our bumper, the BS-30, is a self adhesive door bumper that sticks to the wall behind the door where the door handles would make contact with the wall.  Without a door buffer in place, the door handles would scratch, crack, or damage the wall.
Some door stops are screwed into the floor to prevent the door from hitting.  Other door stops are screwed into the bottom corner of the door.  These methods both work, but they require extra hardware expense and time labor. Lastly, you can stub your toes on them!

Other door bumpers that mount on the wall require being screwed into a stud.  Our protective door stoppers are easy to apply, but still have a strong bond to the wall and are very secure.  Our most popular color is our clear door stops which blend into the wall.  We also carry black, brown, grey, and white door stoppers.

Sliding Doors

Sliding doors can crash into the door frame when they slide on their track.  This can damage and weaken the door frame.  Instead, try using a small door stop on the inside of the door frame to cushion the sliding door.

Try one of our door stops today and see the improvement in your walls, door frames, décor and comfort!

Drawer Bumper Pads

Rubber drawer pads protect hardware from wearing out and breaking caused by opening and closing.  Rubber Pads should be placed on the corners of the drawer to cushion the drawer when it closes.  This prevents abuse on the hardware and sliders.

Without rubber drawer stops, your drawers can slam loudly.  Bumper pads protect drawer sliders and other hardware pieces.  Using cabinet drawer bumpers will prolong the life of drawer sliders and hardware.  Silence is golden, so try Bumper Specialties drawer pads to see the improvement in your drawers.

Bumper Stops for Large Projects or Small Inventors

Kickstarter facilitates inventors and entrepreneurs getting their products up and running.  They help entrepreneurs raise money to get their products to the market.  Kickstarter has raised hundreds of millions of dollars to fund thousands of creative projects.

Our Bumper Specialties blog also supports inventive products that use our bumper stops.  We support start-up companies that come up with useful and innovative projects that may need bumper stops for extra protection.  We usually get involved when designers are putting the finishing touches on their products and need rubber feet for sound dampening or spacing.  When the Kickstarter project "The mPrinter" needed rubber feet to prevent sliding and skidding, they chose Bumper Specialties bumper stops.

The mPrinter is a small printer that uses thermal printing to produce small snippets of information, called “mPrints” from either WiFi or USB connection.  mPrinter can print just about anything—including HTML, text, pictures, or even “custom hosted” Java Script.

In addition to providing quality bumper stops to small start ups like mPrinter, Bumper Specialties manufactures millions rubber feet a day.  As a manufacturer of bumper stops, we can supply large companies’ high volume of rubber feet.  We make it simple for customers that have an increasing bumper demand and need to buy rubber feet in bulk.  Even with these large volume orders, we have short lead times and better logistic options because we manufacture on site.   This means our sales representatives can constantly communicate their customer’s needs with our plant managers almost instantly.  Bumper Specialties is ready to supply and help when a small invention grows into a popular product!

Cabinet Door Stops

Bumper Specialties: Industry Leader in Cabinet Door Protection

Cabinet door stops rank as one of Bumper Specialties most popular applications.  It’s amazing how certain sounds can make you cringe: your beeping alarm clock, a blaring car horn, and yes, the awful sound a cabinet makes when it slams shut!  Lucky for you, we have engineered the best sound dampening cabinet door stops in the industry.  Our bumper stoppers are designed with a softer durometer than the rest of our standard line to help cushion the door close. This provides our customers with a silent close and not that rattling smack!

You can find our door bumpers on kitchen cabinets or bathroom cabinets.  Some cabinets use screw in bumpers or threaded plastic feet, but they have higher labor and machinery costs.  Instead, our door stops are easy to apply, just peel of the back and stick on the inside corner of the cabinet to buffer the door from the cabinet frame—it will strongly adhere to the door with no extra work for you.  Furthermore, Bumper Specialties uses 100% polyurethane to make our rubber cabinet door stops, which is a higher quality compared to cork stops or foam pads.  Try our cabinet bumpers and hear the difference in your home too!

Rubber feet on The USB Typewriter

It’s a computer!  It’s a typewriter!  It’s BOTH!

Got an old typewriter lying around the attic or garage, gathering dusty?  Progressive technology left these typewriters—once imperative to business and education—to do nothing except take up space….until now!   The USB Typewriter combines new age technology with a classic touch.  USB Typewriters are perfect for those of you that miss tapping away on an older QWERTY.  This typewriter can attach to your 21st century screen, MAC or PC, tablet, or iPad.

USB Typewriter gives old typewriters new meaning in this digital era, but also sells Do-It-Yourself conversion kits so you can turn your own beloved typewriter into a USB Typewriter.  These machines still fully function as “ink-on-paper” typewriters, but also electronically record keystrokes which make them compatible with your computer, tablet, or iPad.

The USB Typewriters use Bumper Specialties’ rubber feet  to electrically isolate the circuit board on the side of the machine, so it doesn't touch the metal typewriter frame.  This retro product gives a new application for our rubber bumper feet.  We are glad to be affiliated with inventive and unique products like the USB Typewriter.

Rubber Bumper Spacers

rubber spacer
Flat-top spacer
You may think that Bumper Specialties rubber feet are only good for dampening sounds on slammingcabinets, or minimizing vibration on speaker systems, or for non-skid cuttingboards, but our rubber bumpers can do so much more!  These versatile bumper products explore many fields and uses.  One application we would like to spotlight today is self adhesive bumpers used as rubber spacers.

PCB Spacers
Rubber spacers are utilized on computers, routers, and stack-able network devices.  A fragile printed circuit board (or PCB) sits inside these devices.  Sometimes multiple PCB stack adjacently in a single device.  If they touch they can scratch, break, and cause computer damage.  What is a very simple solution to prevent them from touching?  Stick our rubber spacers on a PCB!

Vinyl, nylon, or polyurethane spacers work best for this job.  Our bumper spacers function well because they are insulators, therefore they do not conduct electricity.  Ideally, spacers need to have a flat top to support the PCB.  In this application, our cylindrical self adhesive bumpers work best.

An alternative to bumper spacers is plastic screws; however, they take a lot more effort to apply.  All of our bumper spacers are backed with an aggressive adhesive, so they stick on immediately.  Plastic screws take up more space than rubber spacers because they require a hole drilled into the PCB.

Glass Spacers

You can also find our rubber spacers used to stabilize glass.  For example, glass shelving and tables use our rubber spacers to keep the glass in place and help protect both the glass and the surface underneath.

Substitutes for rubber spacers in this application can be cork, felt, tape, or foam.  Despite these other options, Bumper Specialties rubber spacers work most efficiently.  They grip the glass, can hold the weight of the glass without wearing out or flattening, and are transparent.

Rubber spacers are also used on windows because they effectively dampen vibrating and rattling from the window.  Rubber bumper spacers make windows sturdier when they are shut because they hold everything tightly in place.

Rubber spacers are just one of the many uses that make Bumper Specialties a small but necessary staple in our daily lives.   Keep an eye out for all the different ways rubber bumpers are used!

Cutting Board Feet

The snow is melting, the sun is shining, and bright colors are flocking back into everyone’s wardrobes.  Yes, spring has sprung at Bumper Specialties!  The arrival of this bright season includes lots more gardening and vegetable chopping.  Interestingly enough, a very common use for our rubber feet is cutting boards!   We know some blogs and web pages are dedicated entirely to which material is best to use for a cutting board, but at Bumper Specialties, we love them all!
Our self adhesive feet are used on a variety of kitchen cutting boards.  These bumpers stick on wood chopping blocks made of everything from teak to bamboo.  Also, our strong adhesive works well for plastic, glass, and acrylic cutting boards.  These bumpers stabilize even marble and granite cutting boards.  We have some great customers that make high quality and unique cutting boards using all sorts of materials—all of which use our rubberized feet.

AHeirloom uses Bumper Specialties bumpers to make sure the cutting board stays in place when chopping up all those vegetables.  They prevent sliding on counter tops, but without leaving any kind or mark or scuff.   So be sure to check out your home state with an AHeirloom cutting board… Bumper Specialties did!

Rubber Feet on Glass and Plastic Cutting Boards

Glass cutting board from Vance, uses rubber feet
Glass and plastic cutting boards are very popular kitchen cutting boards.   They are both easy to keep clean because they can withstand strong disinfectants and cleaners without any damage to the board.  And don’t worry about losing your rubber bumper feet on the bottom of your cutting board: we offer an high performance acrylic adhesive
that can survive the wash cycle and still hold tough to the bottom of your glass cutting board.  You can find Bumper Specialties bumpers sticking strong to a Vance cutting board!

Rubber Feet on Granite

Our rubber feet stabilize even the heaviest of cutting boards, like granite and marble.  Take a look at these gorgeous pieces by Deer Isle Granite!  Deer Isle granite prides itself on being part of American history, supplying granite for such landmarks like Rockefeller Center in New York City.  Clearly, Deer Isle Granite is the absolute top-of-the-line in the granite industry… so it only makes sense to have top of the line bumpers protecting them!

Deer Isle Granite products; cutting board, center
Deer Isle Granite use our rubber feet to protect a variety of kitchen applications, including their granite cutting boards,  trivets, serving boards, and paper towel dispensers!  Our plastic feet are long-lasting quality, just like Deer Isle Granite products.
So this spring, enjoy the nice weather and fresh veggies with a new cutting board, be it wooden, plastic or granite.  And don’t forget to look for those small (but important!) rubberized feet keeping your cutting board in place!
