Rubber Feet Play a Silent but Huge Role in the Music Industry

We are big music fans here at Bumper Specialties and we were excited to watch the 58th Annual Grammy Awards last night! The taste in music at our company varies from Rock, Country, Hip Hop and World Music. The one multi-generational performance that was talked about in front of the water cooler this morning was Lady Gaga’s tribute to David Bowie. Our Bumper team’s music taste is drastically different and the medium our employees use to jam out to their tunes varies as well.

Rubber Feet on Headphone Dock

You probably woke up this morning blasting your favorite song from last night through your headphones, wireless mobile speaker docks, or high end speaker system. Many of these devices that play music have self-adhesive rubber bumper feet on the bottom of them to protect them from being damaged and prevent them from sliding.

These rubber bumper feet can also assist in overall stability while providing vibration resistance and allowing air flow into various types of audio equipment, including speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, and receivers.

The advances in audio equipment are constantly changing based on the new styles of music that come out. No matter what those changes are, rubber bumpers will still play a silent but huge role in this industry.

Give Thanks for Bumpers

The holiday season is here! Look around your kitchen, you may find self-adhesive rubber bumper feet on many of your kitchen accessories. Before carving that delicious Thanksgiving Day turkey, take a look at those rubber feet on the bottom of your knife block and cutting board. Our rubber bumper feet can be used to prevent these items from sliding while protecting your expensive countertops. The knife block is used to organize and protect your knife set. Also, your knives will last longer and stay sharp when it’s time to carve your turkey.

Many of your cooking and serving utensils get buried in your kitchen drawers and when it’s time to use them you can’t find them. Try using a kitchen utensil holder to organize your cooking and serving tools when preparing your Thanksgiving Day feast. Utensil holders also have our rubber feet on them. You have cooked, prepared, and served your meal; it’s now time to sit down, and enjoy it with your family.
